If you find yourself without food, money or other essentials we can help you apply for a range of emergency support.
Food Bank Vouchers
If you have no food at all, please contact us or drop into a Hub for a Food Bank Voucher. We will ask about your circumstances and check you are receiving all the benefits you are entitled to, and help you with any debts and expenses.
You can also access Food bank vouchers via other organisations and collect via their locations.
Fuel Vouchers
If you are on a repayment meter, have no credit and no funds to top up, we may be able to provide a voucher. Please visit us or call 029 2087 1071 for further information.

Emergency cash and goods
- The Discretionary Assistance Fund (DAF), a Welsh Government scheme, can provide emergency cash payments. They also provide grants for household items such as fridges, washing machines and essential furniture. We can help you apply.
- Budgeting loans and advances. If you receive some benefits you may be entitled to a budgeting loan or an advance from your Universal Credit. Don’t forget you will need to pay this money back- can you afford the repayments?
